Here I am using their bike and sporting a brand new set of leathers in turn 1. I was far from 100% comfortable. Note the stiff arms and unbent torso, in addition to the belly pushing against my yet to be broken in Leathers. It was already more fun then I have ever had on a motorcycle before.

Through the chicane at the end of the back straight. Still too stiff, but I am looking through the turns well

Day 2, May 28th 2002

Here I am leading the pack using my own bike. Well at least the pack in the photo, there were plenty of people ahead of me. I've finally got my arms bent well, but my torso still looks stiff. "F" "U" "C" "K" spells FUN!!!! Hey, where'd I go?

Some turn somewhere, I didn't really count. No time. My arms and torso are much better but I still need to bring my head down and further forward.

I like this one because the motion blur of the trees makes me look like I was really cooking, which I was. I averaged 75mph around the track by the end of the second day with a top speed of 119mph. I had improved my lap time by 15 seconds during the first day and an additional 7 seconds the second. Note the heat shimmer from the rear of the exhaust. Cool!

"D" spells Dan.
